The Trouble with CBD Oil

In just a few years, cannabidiol (CBD) has become extremely popular worldwide. Initially discovered as an effective self-medication for Duvet syndrome in children, CBD is now sold to treat a wide range of medical conditions and lifestyle diseases. The cannabinoid CBD, a non-psychoactive isomer of the more notorious tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), is available in an increasing number of administration modes but is the most commonly known CBD oil. Currently, there are dozens, if not hundreds, of CBD oils producers and sellers active in the market, and their numbers are growing rapidly.
Those involved some reputable cbd companies name which varies from individuals who prepare small-scale oils for family and (Facebook) friends to family, and pharmacy farming, pharmaceutical companies, and licensed cannabis producers. Despite the increasing availability of CBD, many uncertainties remain regarding the validity, quality, and safety of this new "cure for the miracle". As a result, CBD is under scrutiny at several levels, ranging from National Health Organization and agricultural lobbyists to WHO and FDA. The central question is whether CBD is only a food supplement, a discovered new drug, or even an alcoholic. This overview paper looks at known risks and issues related to the composition of CBD products and makes recommendations for better labeling based on accurate labeling and more scientifically supported health claims. The purpose of this paper is to create a better understanding of the benefits, risks, of CBD products currently produced, used, and advertised.
To compare the efficacy of pure CBD with that of the most potent CBD oil preparation (oil A), we performed dose-effect experiments for each preparation based on CBD content. As shown, in Figure 3 and Table 3, the efficacy of CBD was generally better than that observed for oil A; However, this difference achieved statistical significance only between pure CBD and oil A in the CRC cell line SW480.
CBD stands for cannabidiol. While CBD is a component of marijuana (one in hundreds), by itself it does not cause a "high". According to a report by the World Health Organization, "In humans, CBD shows no effect of any abuse or sign of dependency capability." To date, there is no Proof of public health-related problems with the use of pure CBD.
